Every child deserves the chance to grow in a safe and secure environment. They need a society that acknowledges that raising healthy children in a nourishing environment creates productive adults who, in turn, contribute to a safe and secure environment for the next generation. That’s why I am fighting the scourge of binge drinking, working to protect children travelling overseas with the support of the Lapthorne family with my Britt Lapthorne Bill and promoting container deposit legislation to get kids actively working on helping the environment.
